Have you been so busy that you haven’t got round to having your first photographs of your new baby or a family portrait?

After you’ve had your first child it’s easy to let time run away.  Before you know it your child is wearing their school uniform and they’re starting reception class!  Believe me, I know how busy families are now and how quickly children grow.  It’s easy to keep putting off having photographs of your children as they grow up, especially in their first year.

I like to offer families the option of having their children photographed at the major stages of their development.  At around 4 months the baby is probably pushing themselves up on their tummies, at 8 to 9 months (or earlier for some) sitting up and by around a year running around and climbing up everything in site.

Whatever the age it’s lovely to have a family portrait.  Your child will look back on those photographs knowing that you documented the whole of their childhood and you included yourselves in it too.

What sort of portrait would you like?

You don’t need to be restricted to the studio if you don’t want although for children up to a year old it is lovely and warm and cosy and I have a good selection of props.  I’m quite happy to go on location or if you like photos in your home or garden.  The options are endless.  If you are thinking of a portrait then why not get in touch for a chat?  We can talk about what suits your family.
